Twitter Image Downloader - Download and Rename Original Images on Twitter

Twitter Image Downloader is a Chrome extension developed by hassaku_mint. It is a free add-on tool that allows users to easily download and rename original images on their Twitter timeline.

With this extension, a new option called "download original image" is added to the right-click context menu when you right-click on an image in your timeline. When you choose this option, the image is automatically renamed and downloaded with the username of the poster and the tweet ID, eliminating the need for manually renaming each downloaded image.

The downloaded images are saved with filenames in the format of "[username]-[tweetID]-[0].extension", where the [0] represents the order of multiple image posts. If any of this information is unavailable, the file will be saved with the name "TIL-unknown-[twimg path].extension".

Please note that the extension does not support image links in TweetDeck and the order of multiple image posts is not retrieved in TweetDeck, resulting in filenames in the format of "[username]-[tweetID].extension". It is recommended to refresh your Twitter page before using the extension.

Please be aware that there are some known issues, such as the failure to retrieve information for TwitterCard tweets with image sources on pdb.twimg.com, and potential conflicts with other download-assisting extensions.
